ISABEL HOPE

Co-Founder/Director

Isabel Hope is an 18-year-old student activist from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is currently attending The University of Alabama and trying to save the South from the climate crisis. Isabel is passionate about justice, cats, and getting young people involved in politics. She is proudly autistic.

AMARI CRITTENDEN

Co-Founder/Outreach Director

Amari Crittenden (she/her/hers) is an eco-conscious Montgomery native. Currently serving as a member of the Sierra Club’s National Climate Emergency Mobilization Team, Amari centers her work on intersectional environmentalism; she dreams of mitigating the disproportionate impacts of environmental harms on all communities through advocacy and innovation.

JENNIFER STROUD

Co-Founder/Social Media Director

Jennifer Stroud is 18 years old and a freshman at the University of Alabama, majoring in Creative Media. In her free time, she loves painting, thrifting, baking, and curating spotify playlists. She hopes to encourage others to speak out about climate justice through AL on Fire.

AUSTEN WYCHE

Co-Founder/Political Director

Austen Wyche is a Sophomore at James Clemens High School. The issues he cares most about are climate change, and the dismantling of systemic injustice. His goal is to protect the future of our earth and empower young people in the process.

SACHI RAMACHANDRAN

Communications Director

Sachi Ramachandran is the Communications Director for Alabama On Fire. She is a sophomore at James Clemens High School. She has an interest in journalism and is very passionate about the growing issue of climate change.
